HCOC (Heather Chimhoga Orphan Care) team is coordinating the construction of a house for 19 vulnerable children who are currently residing in a single hut. Management has engaged the community in this project. This effort will involve the different skills possessed by community members in solving their own problems. HCOC has received much support from the Minister of Housing, Hon. D. Garwe, Social Department, Chief Mangwende, DDC, Headman Nheweyembwa, Traditional leadership, Councillors, Volunteers etc. All the above mentioned authorities and individuals attended the ground breaking ceremony. HCOC’s top priority is Child Safety.
